ABOUT
Ionut’s work is mainly focused on representing the beauty of shapes, colours, and forms, which are inspired by the environment. Most of the artwork focuses on the beauty of nature, plants, flowers, and animals, with the occasional show of buildings, the modern world, and people.
Ionut likes to experiment with the representation of the environment through classical depiction or an abstract view of the world. To achieve the wide variety of representations, Ionut employs various techniques in printmaking, acrylic painting, and the occasional collaging and watercolour painting.
Ionut has been participating in various select exhibitions in Gravesham, Chatham, and Rochester since 2017 and is looking to expand across the UK. He is also part of Hazelnut Press studio in Rochester, composed of around 10 local printmakers and artists.

The Hazelnut Press has established a fine printmaking reputation.
The Press is an artist led printing studio in Rochester, Medway for intaglio, relief, letterpress, screen and hybrid printmaking. It is owned and run by Heather Haythornthwaite.
